Clare Speirs is a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Family Therapist who lives and works in Albury/Wodonga. Clare has over 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in both public health and private practice. She works with people facing a range of emotional, health and relationship challenges and seeks to understand people in the context of their significant relationships.
Clare is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association and enjoys providing coaching and supervision to psychologists and other health professionals. Clare has been an AHPRA-accredited supervisor for 15 years and more recently an AAFT-accredited clinical supervisor (2023).
Clare first became interested in Bowen Family Systems Theory in 2005 through workplace supervision. She continued studying Bowen Theory and applying it to clinical work as well as broader life and completed the Advanced Certificate in Couple and Family Systems Therapy in 2022. She is an Associate Faculty member of the FSI (Core Programs) and a trainer for the Advanced Certificate and Family of Origin groups. She has presented her thinking at FSI conferences and trainings.
