In 2023 the Family Systems Institute is pleased to be developing its clinical supervision program further with the provision of Postgraduate Family Systems Clinical Supervision Groups. These groups offer the opportunity to those who have completed an AAFT Accredited Training Program or a certificate program with the Family Systems Institute to participate in group supervision to continue to apply family systems principles to clinical practice.
These groups will be supervised by an accredited AAFT Clinical Supervision with the FSI and will provide the opportunity for participants to present live examples of their clinical work with video / audio examples which will provide the basis for reflection and discussion of family systems ideas in practice. Strict codes of confidentiality will apply.
The Family Systems Institute is committed to supporting clinicians in their efforts to continue to work from a family systems lens in their clinical practice, as well as supporting emerging family therapists the opportunity to build their supervision hours to work towards their Clinical Family Therapy Membership with AAFT. These groups helps create a supervision pathway for those working towards Clinical Family Therapist Membership with AAFT with the opportunity to build their 5 hours of live supervision and 50 hours of supervision required following the completion of their training program.
