This conference will present clinical and research perspectives on:
What science and theory can tell us about the variations in capacity to be a self in the world of relationships
Additional speakers will present with seminar options run by our faculty.
Jenny Brown: Parents Recovering Self – exploring indicators of parents losing and gaining self during their adolescent’s mental health treatment.
Professor Stephen Suomi: Autonomy and attachment – what can be learned from research with rhesus monkeys?
Location: Northside Conference Centre (Cnr Oxley Street & Pole Lane), Crows Nest, NSW 2065. This is an excellent conference venue and is easy to access from North Sydney via regular buses. It is a 10 min walk from St Leonards train station. Early bird parking at Hume St car Park.
DATE/TIME: Thursday & Friday 15th and 16th June, 2017 (9am to 5pm) – (14 Professional Development Hours)
The 2017 Conference will also have the option to live stream or watch the conference for a two week period after the conference has concluded. Live streaming will cover select portions of the conference from Dr Kerr’s Thursday morning session from 9am to 12:30pm.
Costs:
- 2 Day (Thursday & Friday) – $520.00
- 1 Day only – $295
- Live Streaming (& delayed) options available for opening key note presentations – $99 (individual), $198 (organisation)
- *Live Streaming & delayed bookings essential prior to cut off date: Thursday 8th of June.
