Dr. Michael Kerr MD

Michael Kerr is a renowned speaker and author on Bowen Theory and its applications.

Based in Washington DC he is Director of the Georgetown Family Center Faculty a highly regarded researcher and presenter on Bowen Theory.

Michael E. Kerr, MD succeeded Murray Bowen as Director of the Georgetown Family Center in 1990, following a close twenty-year association with him.

Dr. Kerr is the co-author with Murray Bowen of Family Evaluation: An Approach Based on Bowen Theory. He has also written many articles and book chapters related to Bowen theory and its applications. He is the editor of "Family Systems: A Journal of Natural Systems Thinking in Psychiatry and the Sciences" published by the Georgetown Family Center.

Dr. Kerr visited Sydney in 2007 and was the keynote speaker at our 2007 Annual Conference.

He also conducted a half day course on Tuesday 24th July: Social Dimensions of Healthy Organisations. Exploring the interplay of work, the family and social emotional environments.
