Family of Origin Coaching

Semester 2 with Dr Linda MacKay

The focus of this group will be on researching your own family emotional system in order to better understand your functional role, triangle position and the potential triggers of chronic anxiety. Participation in this group can stand alone or it may be helpful precursor to some individual family of origin coaching. It is not the purpose of the group to re-enter the family system or to redefine self. The reason for this is directed by the theory that suggests any change efforts are more helpfully planned and directed following the acquisition of a sound knowledge of the emotional system.

Group size and times:  We will meet as a closed group of 4 participants (5 including trainer) for 8 x monthly sessions. Each session is of 2 hours duration. Participants are required to make a commitment to 8 sessions spread over a 1 year period.

Dates: Tuesdays: Sept 12th; Oct 10th; Nov 14th; Dec 19th 2017

(Continuing in 2018: Jan 9th; Feb 13th; March 13th; and April 10th 2018).

Time:  4 pm – 6 pm

Trainer: Dr Linda MacKay Reg. Psych

* Online registrations for this group will open at 9 am on March 1st 2017.
