Clinical Services - The Team

All our counsellors are experts in applying family systems approaches to working with individuals, couples and families.
Jenny Brown has worked as a counsellor and social worker with individuals, couples and families since the early 80s with a particular interest in parenting issues. She has substantial post graduate qualifications from Australia, USA and UK.
Charmian (Charlie) Ellis is a registered psychologist with post graduate qualifications in couple counselling. Prior to joining the Family Systems Institute, she worked with two of Australia‘s pre-eminent counselling organisations. Charlie has extensive experience in relationship, personal and crisis counselling and is also an accredited practitioner for "Prepare" pre marriage counselling.
Linda Mackay has extensive experience working with individuals, couples and families. She has a particular specialty in assisting those who have suffered trauma and those who wish to understand and resolve issues from their families of origin. Linda has a PhD in critical psychology and is a clinical member of Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association NSW (CAPA).
Lily Mailler is a registered psychologist with many years experience. She counsels individuals, couples and families and has previously worked on projects addressing schizophrenia and domestic violence. Lily has a special interest in cultural issues and speaks fluent Spanish.
Clare Saunders is a clinical psychologist with substantial training in Cognitive Behavioural approaches which she draws on within a systems approach. As well as seeing couples and individuals she is particularly experienced in working with child and adolescent difficulties.
Jo Wright is a registered psychologist with a 20+ year career as an individual couple and family therapist. She has post graduate training in couple and family therapy. In Particular she has expertise in couple therapy and assisting clients to deal with anxiety and strong emotional reactions.
